The course " Writing Effective Learning Outcomes" seeks to provide the learners skills on writing learning outcomes which focus on student's learning and evidence of learning through assessments. In traditional course design, the teachers or trainers usually start with the training content or syllabus and then devise the teaching activities and learning outcomes. In this case, most often, the learning outcomes are not focused and result in unaligned learning and lack of proper evidence of learning through assessments. Learning outcomes are not just statements of intent but also are critical roadmap for the other components of course design such as the content, assessments and teaching activities. This course brings out the details in consideration of these components and their appropriate alignment to ensure a high quality course design.
