As an Instructor, that originally started my teaching career showing students Office Applications [i.e.: Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Access] and of course Navigation of the Operating Systems almost two (2) decades ago, I decided to make this course after noticing that many students, no matter what field they were in, were having great difficulty using Microsoft Excel.I wanted to make this course on Excel because I believe it is very important for all students to be able to be proficient in using this application, not only for school but for real-world use. Please check the curriculum so you can see the different topics I will be covering to help you with the basics of navigating Excel. If you learn these basic concepts and apply them from the start, then you will be ahead of the game! Please keep in mind that I am a Network Engineer & Cisco Instructor as well, and this knowledge is used throughout all aspects of IT, not to mention that it is required for any person that works in either an office environment or is a network administrator to better organize their configurations. This course will teach students how to navigate through Excel and be able to create worksheets that are understandable and be able to calculate problems using formulas to automate their work.Of course, we will also learn how to prepare a worksheet to be printed by adjusting print areas, inserting brakes, and using headers and footers to be able to print a visually understandable spreadsheet.
