Watercolor Complete from my Watercolor Secret Series is an "everything you need to know" course in mastering the art of watercolor.In this course, we'll cover the following: You'll learn what materials are best for watercolor painting, what makes a good composition, the importance of values, edges, color & shapes. You'll learn drawing skills utilizing perspective, proportions, & brushstrokes with Figures Trees, Skies, Cars and finally you'll do painting side by side with me.We cover the importance of mastering pigment to water ratio in your brush.Here's the list of materials you'll need for this course:Paints: At least three primary colors and earth colors of professional quality. Examples: Light Red, French Ultramarine, Raw Sienna or Cadmium Red and Cadmium Yellow. My personal palette consists of: French Ultra Marine, Cobalt Blue, Cerulean Blue, Cadmium Red, Light Red, Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Yellow, Cad Yellow Light, Yellow Ocher, Payne's Grey, Burnt Sienna.Palette: A light, portable palette is recommended.Brushes: any type or brand designed for watercolor with good snap and point. I use Kolinsky sable and synthetic rounds (small to large), natural or synthetic mop brushes (small to large), a thin liner or rigger for small details.Paper: rough or cold-pressed; 140Lb (300gm) or heavier; professional quality.
