In this course, you'll learn how to mix purposeful colors in watercolor and how to apply them on paper. We'll learn how to achieve different saturations (color intensities) and values (lightness and darkness) in addition to creating the various hues on a standard color wheel. It is meant for the complete novice equipped with basic art materials. It is also meant to be a concise, efficient class that offers lots of great information in a small amount of time. You will be carefully supported and guided through the entire process, from discussing which materials you will need, onto adding water and color to your mixing tray, onto avoiding common missteps that may lead to frustration.
