Warli is one of the oldest forms of Indian folk art and has its origins in the Warli region of Maharashtra. This form of tribal art mainly makes use of geometric shapes such as circles, triangles and squares to form numerous shapes depicting life and beliefs of the Warli tribe. In olden days, Warli art was done on walls on special occasions.About the course:In Warli Art Basic Course, you will learn basic geometry shapes and types of lines that is used to create symbolic art form. They include borders in Warli art, human figures in action, musical instruments, birds and animals, types of houses and trees, traditional Tarpa dance to draw technically, composition of all elements together and finally completing project.What you will learn:To enhance knowledge of Warli tribe and learning their art form.Course requirement:· No course requirements.
