An introduction to the beautiful art of dancing with a veil! In this course your veil is your dance partner! Learn to dance gracefully with a veil: poses and postures, flourishes and turns at a good speed and with precision, control and fierce energy. Learn dance technique and movements to compliment the beauty of your veil. Your arms will be strengthened and you will learn how to create graceful movements combined with sharp flicks and tricks. Your upper body strength and posture will also improve and you will get moving across the room and dance floor swiftly with true refinement, elegance and grace!Perfecting the range of turns, to include paddles turn, travelling turn, step turn, speed control, core control, arms with turns and generally improving the precision and connection of turns with other movements. How to hold a veil will also be covered and drilled. The course covers a warm up, turn technique, arm and body movements to assist your veil, how to hold a veil, a routine combination and a cool down. All levels welcome.
