Dear English learner,This course will give you an opportunity to grasp the theory of Upper-Intermediate (B2 level) and elements of advanced grammar to get yourself closer to fluency in English. If you had taken already the intermediate grammar course with me, this course will build on that one. If you however feel you still have gaps in intermediate grammar, please take that course first as I will not be revisiting the basics here. If you're not sure, just visit the intermediate grammar course page content to check. The topics include mixed conditionals, past perfect, future perfect and much more are all covered and explained in detail here in a video format with examples and tricky points covered. Remember that grammar is now more complex, the rules have exceptions and you should be developing intuition for the language by this point alongside with logical structured grammar approach to understand the English language. Sometimes rules help, others it's your intuition developed as a result of learning that will help.Make sure to apply grammar in your communication, make your own examples as theory is no nothing without the practical part. And don't feel shame in going back to the theory again and again - learning requires repetition and things don't always click the first time round. _________________________this course will help you prep grammar wise for an FCE (First Cambridge) exam or equivalent as well as IELTS band 5.5-6 (grammar wise only)Happy learning and remember that it's a journey so be patient and keep going.Your English teacher Maria.
