It is important to recognize that at some time in all our lives we will all be affected by Loss and bereavement. Maybe the loss of a Mother or Father, Grandparent or a sibling, or a friend, or even someone we hardly knew but died tragically.. Some Losses are expected others can come suddenly and at unexpected and difficult times. Loss and bereavement can be a difficult 'journey' to experience and emerge from as it is often not a straight forward journey, not an A to B journey. In this five session video course I will help you firstly to Understand Loss, and then how to cope with the reality of pain and loss. I will show you how to manage feelings and reactions to loss and I will touch on difficult areas of grief and Loss that many struggle with. In the final and fifth session I will guide you to see and to understand the signs of Hope and moving forward, and the steps to take towards new Hope and a new Life in all its fullness to be enjoyed and lived. That is not to say that moving forward means in any way forgetting the person we lost, but that with new Hope in our hearts we can move forward with new found resilience, strength and Hope. And even thinking of becoming a bereavemet support counsellor ourselves.
