A brief introduction of Science and Technology to understand the difference between Computer Science & IT. In this course, we examine THE WORLD OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY IN RELATION TO COMPUTER SCIENCE & IT SO THAT WE KNOW WHERE TO POSITION OURSELVES TO SOLVE REAL WORLD PROBLEMS. The course will help students decide on which field of computing they want to specialise in. We shall specifically learn about Ontology and Taxonomy of Software Idea using the Tree Metaphor, examine the Software and Software Engineering skills development, look at the rise of computer hardware & software with the links between them. We will also look at the functional and structural difference between Computer Science & IT and the common ground between them. Finally, we will then take a look at THE ORIGIN OF COMPUTER SCIENCE & IT then conclude by looking at the SUMMARY OF THE ORIGIN OF COMPUTER SCIENCE & INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY.All the above will be done purposely to for us to Understand the origin of science and technology computer science and IT, Understand Software and software engineering and appreciate the rise of computer hardware & software with the links between them, and understand the functional and structural difference between Computer Science & IT and their common ground shared by Computer science & IT
