Learning programming paradigms before using the language helps you decide which language is better for which use case.System design is a required skill today for every backend engineer. Knowing how to approach system design and choose the right technology is a key point toward successful software. Deciding when to adopt a distributed architecture, and recognizing when it would be a bad choice is extremely important.
