Most project managers sit in meetings all day. This will teach you new ways to handle things, better ways to get things done, how to keep workflow going, and how to empower your employees to handle things with a lot less stress. Project management or product management is a high-stress job; this is one of the best ways to do it without such high stress. I would say that for 20 years of my career, I have been handling projects and know a lot about handling simple projects up to building entire plants, so I know what I'm talking about.
