One look at the infinite beauty and wisdom of the world and one is filled with awe. Nothing could be clearer than there being intelligent design. And inasmuch as there is an intelligent designer clearly He must have revealed to us the intent of His magnificent creation. Our tradition is that this revelation is in three ways. 1) In nature itself. As Abraham our forefather did, one can simply study all in existence and learn everything about God. 2) Through history. Everything that happened, happens, and will happen is God revealing Himself to us. And 3) The only national revelation in history, the Torah given to the Jewish people on Mount Sinai. The first two revelations about God are quite difficult, as there are many human blockages such as character defect and evil forces that prevent us from seeing the truth in nature and history. But, the Torah is the clearest radiant revelation, for all those able to connect to true Torah scholars who have received guidance and training of the depth and intricacies of Torah study. The Ramchal was gifted with an ability to simplify basic knowledge of God and purpose of life and guidance how to live, and one small but powerful book - The Way of God.
