Rooted in Meisner's principles, The Truthful Actor is designed to help you strip away the noise and connect deeply with your craft. By the end of this course, you'll have the tools to master any script, create complex characters, and build exciting performances. Through a mix of lectures, practice sessions, and demonstrations, you'll learn to develop your emotional and behavioural instrument, strengthen relationships work, and gain confidence in every aspect of your craft.And, in the final section of the course, we'll dive into essential industry insights, including developing the right mindset, understanding casting type, and navigating the process of finding and working with agents. The course also includes a comprehensive workbook with practical exercises and two specially designed training scenes for you to practice and refine your skills.Importantly, I want you to feel empowered by the knowledge you will gain, so that you can take ownership of your artistic path and be in the driver's seat!I'm Martina Avogadri, an actress, acting coach, and producer. I have been coaching established and aspiring actors since 2018, at one of the best independent acting studios in London. As an actress I have worked extensively both in Italy and in the UK for several independent productions, as well as big companies such as Netflix. I recently took part in feature film ‘Lift', produced by Kevin Hart and distributed by Netflix and I've just finished filming for two upcoming horror titles.I am the co-founder of a London based film production company, which focuses on bold films that push boundaries, exploring the depths of often controversial subjects through genre.Alongside my acting training, I undertook Philosophy studies at the University of Milan and completed a degree in Aesthetics. My Philosophy background has helped me shape my coaching, tailoring it to the needs of each one of my students.
