This is a course on the True Story of the Spanish Conquest of Mexico. This is a course based on the eyewitness account of the Conquest of Mexico by one of the soldiers of Hernan Cortez. Bernal Diaz del Castillo participated in 119 battles fought in the Conquest of Mexico. An excellent writer Diaz del Castillo describes all the key events of this Epic event in World History. Though in a different time period, I also have an intimate knowledge of this Conquest. I was born and raised in the former Tenochtitlan and have experienced, studied and lived in the various key sites of this saga. So you are getting everything directly from the horses mouth. I teach lecture courses and studios as I wish they would have been taught to me. Much of the graphic material in my lectures is taken or generated first hand directly by me on site. I teach to learn.
