Are you dissatisfied with your teaching job? Feeling unappreciated, exhausted, frustrated, burned out? Trust me, I've been there. After 15 years of being a public school educator, I've experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. Three years ago, I was ready to quit. It was the midst of COVID, and I was fed up with being a teacher. I was checked out. Done. No more low pay, no more crazy changes to my teaching schedule, no more apathy from my students while instructing my butt off, no more problematic parent and co-worker interactions. But in the end, I didn't quit. I kept going, showing up everyday with a mindset that even though I cannot change the demands of my jobs, I can certainly change my attitude towards them. And you know what happened? Things got better, the job went back to normal, and I was able to enjoy coming to work again. So because of my experience, I created this course! I want to help other teachers, like you, navigate these difficult crossroads, like I did. And if you find yourself "at the crossroads" then you've come to the right place. It's a dark place, knowing you've spent countless years studying and preparing for a job in which you might now feel trapped and miserable. But there's hope, and this course is designed to make you a happy, healthy teacher once again. You will not learn any educational psychology, cultural pedagogy, or any educational buzzwords from this course. You can learn that material in any professional development class. But you WILL learn my practical, day-to-day tips and tricks for consistent classroom preparation and management, developing positive relationships with students and staff, and methods of self-care. With over 15 years of public school teaching experience, I can help you thrive in and out of the classroom.
