The Architecture of Philip Johnson and the International Style. This course is on the architecture and design of this very productive and influential American architect. Philip Johnson is the cornerstone and pioneer of the International Style. The International Style is most easily recognized by the use of steel structures and glass curtain walls. Philip Johnson is one of the key figures of Modern architecture. This course introduces you to some of his most iconic and influential buildings. Welcome!
