Drawings are the most important part of any construction work. It must be clear, simple, and complete in all aspects. Structural drawings involve a schedule of reinforcement and detailing of sections of the structural components. Detailing is a process of evolution based on an understanding of the structural behavior of structural components under loads and material properties. A clear understanding of the flow of stresses, method of construction, practical feasibility are the key factors of detailing.Staircases are used for the purpose of giving access to different floors of a structure. Stairs are useful during our day-to-day life for vertical circulation but are extremely important during an incident like fire or earthquake. Hence it must be safe, durable, and serviceable during any such calamity.
