This course provides students with a comprehensive foundation in mathematics aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and prepares them for success on the 6th Grade STAAR Math assessment. The curriculum emphasizes the development of critical thinking, problem-solving strategies, and mathematical reasoning across a variety of real-world and academic contexts.Students will explore key mathematical concepts including number operations with fractions and decimals, ratios and rates, proportional reasoning, expressions and equations, geometry, measurement, and data analysis.
