This course can be used by teachers in the classroom or bought by parents for their leaving cert students. Each video uses English and Irish to clearly outline what is being said.Each year, there are 20 Sraith Pictiúr on the leaving cert Irish course. In this course, I go through each of them in great detail. Each Sraith Pictiúr consists of 6 sections. The exam on the Sraith Pictiúr consists of describing the pictures in detail, then answering three questions about the pictures, and finally asking three questions about the pictures.For each of the Sraith Pictiúr, I give an overview of the key words for each section. Then, I give sample sentences about each section. Usually, each section will have eight to ten sentences that students can use to creat their own answers. Then I go through some sample questions about each section. Ideally, students should learn at least 6 questions to ensure they are prepared for their exam. Finally I read through the entire story to give an understanding of pronunciation and tempo when describing the picture.Hopefully, by the end of this course, students will feel confident for their Irish Oral exam.
