If you ever wish to learn how to paint with watercolours. You come to the right place. Watercolour paintings begin with light values and gradually add dark values to complete the painting. These last steps of the finishing touches with dark details will complete the depth of each flower. This has been one of Bev's favourite spring watercolour classes. After a long Canadian winter, spring tulips is a sign of new beginnings and adding colour of excitement in our gardens. This class would be a great painting for beginners and/or intermediate painters. Students will be provided with a written guide, references, transfers and demonstrations with step-by-step instructions to a finished painting. Many tips and techniques will be shown to develop a bouquet of Tulips. Information about watercolour pigments concerning transparency and liftable properties will also be discussed. The last lecture will also provide four common techniques that many watercolour artists use. Use all these techniques in future paintings!Are you unsure of sketching or drawing, no worries, a template will be provided. Students will be shown two ways tor transfer the image onto the watercolour paper.If you have watercolour brushes, paints and paper, you will be ready to go!
