Mainly the course objective is to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills required to gain experience for further education and/or career opportunities in the field of SCADA systems and power distribution networks.This will be achievable by covering many topics like:- Introduce the fundamentals of SCADA systems and its role in the electrical power industry.- Provide students with broad details about the SCADA system architecture and its main components.- Provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how SCADA systems work and how are used to monitor and control power distribution networks.- The students also will be aware of the communications protocols used in SCADA applications.- In addition, students will understand the cybersecurity risks associated with SCADA systems.This course will take you through an interesting journey through out SCADA system details by including in the begging (Getting started) which will contains a brief description about the power system network and also the distribution system network.Going to the next chapter for SCADA system introduction which will covers the SCADA system definition, applications, major advantages and its main components which later on we will give more details about these components.The next chapter is SCADA system Description which will include technical details about the SCADA components levels as the field, stations, and master stations levels.
