Hello everyone! Welcome to this review course. My name is Hiba Salem. I am licensed and certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in the state of Colorado. The course has been prepared to assist with the process of becoming certified and licensed as an advanced practice provider/nurse practitioner. This course aims to prepare nurse practitioners for the board exam by providing a review on important topics as outlined by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Critical Care Nurses (AACN). Each body system is discussed in a separate topic. Important information is highlighted. The course also compares the two certifying bodies, the ANCC and AACN, to assist individuals with determining which certifying body they would like to become certified with. Moreover, the end of the course describes the process of licensure after passing the board exam. This course is offered at a lower price compared to other review courses. The information is current as of 2022. I anticipate updating the courses when the ANCC or AACN organizations update their content outlines or when they change the exam.
