Course Overview & ObjectivesThis course focuses on one of the Four Gentleman Plants-bamboo. The Four Gentleman Plants (plum blossoms, orchid, bamboo, and chrysanthemum) are deeply rooted in Eastern culture, symbolizing noble virtues. Among them, bamboo holds a particularly special place in people's hearts. In traditional Chinese art, bamboo is even regarded as a standalone subject, highlighting its artistic and cultural significance.In this course, we will explore both the artistic and cultural aspects of bamboo painting. Additionally, we will introduce the sparrow, a lively and expressive bird often paired with bamboo in classical compositions.
