Oracle Fusion Calculation Manager tool is used to define allocation rules to meet various business needs to allocate balances. There are two options available in the tool to define the rulesUsing Allocation WizardUsing FormulaYou can define rule using either of these options or you can use both inside a single rule. There are variety of ways you can use these combinations to achieve the required result. We have shared few commonly used requirements and necessary setups required before defining the allocation rules.You will also learn how to define generic rules and user parameters so that same rule can be run for multiple periods without making any changes to the rule definition. Once you have many rules defined then you can define a rule set where you can combine all the rules and execute the rule set. It will internally execute all the child rules and generate allocation journals.Based on the knowledge learnt from this training, you can start experimenting various scenarios and learn how to build rules to meet user requirements. You will also learn various problems which you will face while defining rules and also how to overcome those problems. Your level of expertise will grow based on the rules defined by you.
