In this course, the first part of the Writing module "Summarize Written Text" will be taught. You will get one or two SWT questions in your PTE test. In Summarize Written Text, you will be given a text up to 250 and 10 minutes to summarize it into one sentence. This one sentence can have as short as 5 and as many as 75 words. Most students make a grammatical mistake while composing that one sentence and grammar plays an important part in this section. If you make a grammatical mistake, you will lose a large part of the point for this section. For instance, if you have two full stops instead of one, you will get no points for that question because you have not met the first condition which is one sentence. And a one-sentence always has one full stop at the end. In this course, I will teach you a template that guarantees your grammar and you just need to focus on what content words you need to choose. After grammar, content is the most important part of the SWT. Once you mastered the template, it will take around 8 minutes to summarize a text. You can use the rest of your time checking your spelling which is another important section of any piece of writing you do on a computer. Finally, the Summarize Written Text shares its points with your Reading and Writing modules. So if you are missing points in your reading, you can compensate for that by using this error-proof template and getting the highest score possible for this section. I have also done more than 10 Summarize Written Text samples for you along with clear instructions of what to include and exclude in your SWT response.
