The PTE Listening module is the fourth and the last module of the PTE test. It comprises 8 test items. This module, by far, has the most varied types of questions in the PTE test. Most PTE candidates struggle in this section because of two reasons. The first one is that this module, unlike the speaking one, has a count-down timer where you are given a certain amount of time for the whole listening test items and not for individual test items. Therefore, most students regardless of the test item's score weight, just try to answer as many questions as they can and the result, they get is less than what they expect. The second reason is that the Write from Dictation test items are strategically situated at the end of the module where students face time shortages. This is despite the fact that this test item carries the second biggest score of the PTE test.In this course, I will teach you how to save your time by knowing which test items are important and also giving you strategies for dealing with each of these 8 test items. To visualize the importance of each test item, I have used weights that represent how big the score the test item is sharing with your overall listening score.All of my students will have no problem with their time management and the score they get is always higher than what they expect.
