Prometheus is very popular open source infrastructure monitoring tool in recent devOps world which has the capabilities to monitoring bare metal network, basis OS, containerization and network endpoints. Special about this tool is time series database which make this tool very unique type of monitoring and alerting tool. Due to time series database feature quality of monitoring is at very granular level and gives you very detailed information about your server. i.e metrics information is stored along with the timestamp at which it was recorded, optional key-value pairs called as labels can also be stored along with metrics.This is course will make you familiar with Prometheus tool, associated work flows and practial hands-on on how to configure it for your infrastructure.
