Project monitoring and evaluation (M & E) is the very cornerstone of reporting requirements under many projects being implemented across the globe. Consistent and quality reports require that M & E systems are strengthened to sufficient levels that allows for thorough analysis of findings, cross learning and measuring impact of project interventions. Although there is some understanding of M & E among stakeholders be it government agencies, ngos, donors and academicians, it is very important that beginners have a holistic understanding on the role Monitoring and Evaluation plays in the project life cycle. This course begins with a free training of the basic principles of Monitoring and Evaluation which should be understood by all beginners. Afterwards, the next two sections will provide details on the development of robust Monitoring and Evaluation Systems and finally conclude with Monitoring and Evaluation Training's.
