Process Mining is the methodology which helps to understand process the way it happens in real environment.Process mining is (Also called as Process Intelligence) helps to create investigations based on actual performance. This is done on actual workflow data in various IT systems such as SAP. Service Now etc. An important aspect of any business process management (BPM) discipline is the discovery phase. This is where you gather information about your processes-what's working well, and what's not. It helps pinpoint where optimization potential lies. Traditional methods of discovery, however, such as interviews with business application users, tend to be manual and error-prone.Process mining provides a much more accurate, effective, and data-driven approach to discovery.
