Modern man is always trying to do the right thing and say the right thing. His mind is always obsessed with these so called markers of maturity. This is true to the point of making his doings and conversation pretty much the sole determiners of a "spiritual man." While these things are an important part of our mystical journey, there is something else that has an equally important place.silence. It appears to be the case that in all spiritual disciplines, the marker of spirituality moves from the two aforementioned markers. That is, the presence of silence in the disciple of that discipline, that becomes the primary sign of spirituality. This too lacks balance in our journey. In this course we will be giving to students of spirituality a renewed perspective on silence as a power charged factor in their daily lives.
