The course is for students writing any standardized exam that involves quadratic function and equation. In this course, the students will explore the fundamental concepts and techniques of solving questions using various methods, including algebra, graphical, and numerical approaches on quadratic equations. The students are expected to have the basic mathematics skill in order to solve question on this course. The questions are multiple choice of four options and the students are required to choose only one option.The course covers a total of 25 questions in the following areas:(1) Finding the quadratic function given the vertex.(2) Finding the quadratic function given the x-intercepts.(3) Finding the roots of a quadratic equation by factorization.(4) Finding the roots of a quadratic equation by quadratic formula.(5)Finding the vertex of a quadratic function given the function.(6) Finding the solution of a composite graph of quadratic function and a linear function.(7)Finding the roots of a quadratic equation from the table of values of the quadratic function.(8) Finding the type of roots of a quadratic function given the graph.(9) Finding the sum and the product of the roots of a quadratic equation.(10) Finding the quadratic equation given the roots.Aside the above objectives, the students will develop problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
