Power BI is a powerful business intelligence tool that enables users to transform raw data into interactive insights. The data analysis process typically begins with Power Query, which allows users to connect, clean, and transform data from multiple sources using a user-friendly interface and M language. Once the data is prepared, it is loaded into the Data Model, where users can define relationships between tables, similar to joins in databases (such as inner, left outer, or full outer joins), enabling effective cross-table analysis.To enhance analysis, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) functions are used to create calculated columns, measures, and KPIs. These functions support complex business logic and time intelligence operations. Modeling in Power BI helps define data types, hierarchies, and formats that improve usability and performance.Visualizations bring the data to life using interactive charts, tables, slicers, and filters. These visuals can be published to the Power BI Service, where reports and dashboards are shared across the organization.
