This course on "Plant-based meat". In this video, I will give you an overview of our course so that you can make smart decisions. But before that, I just want to announce that I also have a course on "Nutraceuticals", which you can see in my profile.The current population of earth is about 7.8 billion people in 2021 and it is expected to grow 10 billion by the end of the year 2050, and 11 BILLION by the end of this century. How do you think that you can feed a population which is almost 40% larger than the current population. Humans have already consumed 70% of the available habitable land. The solution to this problem can be achieved by genetically modifying the crops to produce higher yields but there is a limit to that. The one thing that we can do is to increase the efficiency of our meat industry. WHY DO YOU ASK? Because 26% of total crops and water are required to feed farm animals. There are about 23 billion chickens, 1 billion cattle, and 1 billion pigs and sheeps currently living on the planet. There are a lot of mouths to feed. Unfortunately, meat production is like a black hole for resources. Only a fraction of nutrients from photo crops end up in the meat we buy in the end.The best alternative for animal meat is "plant-based meat", which has all the nutrients and benefits of animal meat but without killing any animal. And you guessed it right, it is entirely made with plant products.This course will teach you everything about "Plant-Based Meat", their past, and their future.
