This course is the unique form of Laser Physics designed for undergraduate students. It covers the basic construction & working principle of Laser.The video lectures are split into multiple parts so you can easily develop the concepts. Particularly to understand Laser, this lecture is categorized into sections for your own convenience. First it is important to understand the characteristics of Laser which will help you distinguish it from the ordinary light. The other part is based on radiation & matter which in turn is the significant topic of this course. It consists of detailed explanation on absorption, spontaneous & stimulated emission of radiation. You will clearly observe the interaction of radiation & matter in this part. Then, to understand the basic principle that how it works, you will find in the next part that why population inversion is important to achieve & why optical resonators are placed for an active medium. Upon the end of this course, you will be able to build the concept of three level Laser system & you will find answers to your desired problems such as why two level Laser is not possible, why population inversion is so important in Laser. Also, you will be able to construct a four level Laser system & perform its practical implementation.
