Patent Practices in Research Covers is a uniquely designed course for students, academicians and the research fraternity. It briefly covers the basics of intellectual property rights with more emphasis on Patent. It comprehensively covers various aspects of Patent and Patent Search.Patent and working of the patent system in India, Criterial for Patentability, Non-Patentable Subject Matters, Traditional Knowledge and Patent, Section 3(d) for Pharma Fraternity, and Computer Related Innovations (CRI) are covered in a comprehensive manner as one part of the course. First Part Comprises of:Session: 1 - Brief Introduction on Intellectual Property Right (IPR): This session covers a basic understanding of IPR by depicting an example of tangible and intangible properties. Session: 2 - Types of Intellectual Property Right: This session covers various IPs like Patent, Trademark, Copyright, Geographical indications, Industrial Design. As the course is focused more on Patent, all IPs are briefly and effectively introduced with some exampleSession: 3 & 4 - Patent and Patent System: These sessions cover important aspects of the patent in a very fine manner to build a foundation for subsequent sessions.
