This course provides a concentrated overview of some of the language and behaviours that will help students to progress in their careers in business. Attention is given to specific areas of 'general' English grammar, with the major focus being on Business phrases, terminology and language. (English Level B1 is a minimum requirement for this course). The course is structured as 10 video tutorials, each lasting approximately 10 minutes. A topic is introduced Angus MacDonald, the instructor, and developed during the course of the lesson. Within the 10 minute timeframe grammar hot-spots are also introduced to revise or to introduce essential grammar topics. At the end of each lesson, there is a short 5 question quiz, with answers given at the very end of the lesson. The style of each video is relaxed and friendly, with advice given on career development as part of the inbuilt Business English 'culture and best practice' content. Each video lesson will be accompanied by three extra items: 1) a full Video Transcript which students can follow. 2) a 'Vocab & Grammar Guide' with further explanations and descriptions of key words, phrases and grammar points used during the lesson, and finally 3) Extra Exercises for the students to follow, based on the content of the lesson and the Vocab & Grammar Guide.
