Section One of this course will gave Ong Moon ( 5 Gates ) from the Jeet Kune Do Lineage. Then from Wing Chun, the Siu Nim Tao and Chum Kiu will be taught. It is important to understand that we will be using these to understand structure and movement. Later on, we will delve into why it is taught this way (abc's) and then go into combat application. Section two will cover the wooden man ( Muk yan Jong ). For my Wing Chun brethren, I apologize. We are not using the traditional numbering system here. I am an JKD-Man after all, so we will use the JKD numbering system. " Wing Chun " 1 - 10 will be covered. Followed by Jeet kune do 1 - 8. The ultimate goal here is to be able to treat the wooden man like you would a western heavy bag. An example of this will be found at the end. The Drills4Skills will include some basic level trapping, which you've learned during your section two training. It will also go over some classic JKD drills.
