Under this module, "Modern History of India", we would be covering the major topics which are very important from the examination perspective like the 'Major Events in Modern History of India', 'The Great Revolt of 1857', 'Gandhian Movements', 'Towards Freedom & Partition' etc. Generally, when we talk about the term 'Modern India', we found a common problem people focusing or kind of encounter, that is they are not able to make connections between the different that occurred simultaneously in Indian History. Again, they think that 'Medieval India' has ended and now the 'Modern India' has started. But we need to understand that there is a kind of a fuzziness between 'Medieval' and 'Modern'. So we also need to understand that when one period just collapses into another; it doesn't exactly stops at that particular time or period and therefore there are many connections furthermore. So at 'The Saviour Academy', we would try to exploit and explore these possibilities when studying History.
