Hey there,are you as obsessed with everything midcentury, vintage and retro as I am? And you also like to draw digitally in Procreate? Then this class is for YOU!In this class we are going to create a screen printing style mid century illustration in Procreate that looks anything but digital. I will give you all the tools you need to depict this particular style, includinga carefully handmade brushset with 15 brushes,a colour paletteAND a midcentury style font called ‚Fifties Print‘ that comes with a private license.First, we are going to talk about the screen printing technique and what makes it so special. We are also going to dive into midcentury style illustrations and their characteristics. Before we start drawing I walk you through the process of finding inspiration for our fall themed illustration and brainstorming the items we would like to include.Now let‘s draw! I will teach you everything, starting with our sketch, a rough colour block to decide about the colours we would like to include to the final drawing and how to use the brushes that come with the class. Together we will finish a collection of autumnal items in one illustration. With some tricks and a little bit of cheating we will turn our drawing into a screen print style illustration and give it its texture.That sounds like fun, doesn‘t it?
