When it comes to managing a basement renovation project, staying organized is key. Using Excel to track all aspects of the project-from budgeting to progress updates-helps ensure everything is on track and stays within budget. Here's how I structured the basement renovation project and how Excel became an essential tool for keeping things organized.We will track the materials needed for each basement section. We have two bedrooms, a bathroom, a common hallway area, and a combo kitchen/dining/living area. Each area will have a list of materials for renovation and products for decorating the area, with respective labor cost for each area.
