This course will greatly assist a young child, ages 3-5 or maybe older, to correctly write the English letters in a basic Manuscript Handwriting Style. Included with this course are videos for each letter and Letter Writing Directions Worksheets (PDF) that can be downloaded and printed at home or in the classroom as many times as needed.It's designed very simply, easy to follow and can be reviewed as many times as needed for the student to fully understand the letter writing process.If the student doesn't already know directions such as; left, right, up, down, etc., they will learn this as they work with the letter writing videos. If the student has not yet attended kindergarten, it's highly recommended the teacher or parent take the course; "How to Prepare Your Child for Kindergarten Success." Within this course, directions and preparation for letter writing is greatly emphasized.The series of worksheets and videos, along with the "Kindergarten Success" course, will greatly assist your child to easily learn the correct way to hold a pencil, knowing how to follow directions and learning the terms; up/down, top/bottom, circle left, circle right, dip, slant and other terms needed to follow the video directions.Have your child pause the videos as needed to fully understand how the letters are formed. Ensure he follows and stays within the top, middle and bottom lines of the line worksheets. However, if your child is just starting out to form and recognize letters, allow him to make the letters as large as he would like.
