It is also designed for learners who are interested in knowing and understanding the basics of Mandarin and want to master the fundamentals, as well as use it as a stepping stone to pursue further knowledge of the language. Even learners who are at an advanced or fluent level simply want to refresh their basic knowledge of Mandarin, can take this course as well. The instructor has tried his best to make the topics of this course as simple and as easy as possible to understand and learn, as Mandarin is known to be one of, if not, the most difficult language to learn, as some of its aspects such as the various tones for words and the colossal number of characters one needs to be familiar can be overwhelming, especially for new learners.
