Learning Basics Of Tigrigna / Tigrinya Language - መባእታዊ ትምህርቲ ቋንቋ ትግርኛThe Tigrigna language (also spelled Tigrinya) is a Semitic language spoken in Eritrea and in northern Ethiopia in the Tigray region. It is also spoken by the global diaspora of these regions. In this course the student will learn many skills. These skills includereading and writing tigrigna / tigrinya lettersreading and writing basic wordslistening to instruction(s) in tigrigna / tigrinya and provide answersThe course is designed in such a way that the student follows the instructor the way the tigrigna / tigrinya alphabets are written, and the way they are pronounced. In so doing, the student has to trace and practice correctly writing the alphabets.Once the student demonstrates mastery of the alphabets, the student learns to compose words based off the alphabets. In so doing, the student learns new vocabulary, and the proper way of writing and reading those words.The course embraces multiple resources. The materials used in the course are attached for reference as well as youtube videos prepared by the instructor are also added as an external resources so that the learner can get multiple options in the efforts to master the course. Besides, quizzes after end of each section helps the learner to see the level of mastery of the course. Finally, six assignments are made available at the end of the course which would help the learner to check with the teacher for feedback.Parents whose kids originally from Eritrea and Ethiopia are the main beneficiaries of this course.
