If you are a trader and don't know how to read a DOM, then I can safely say you are the dinosaur who didn't know the asteroid is coming. Trading has evolved over the past few years, in fact trading evolved a century ago when traders discovered that the only thing that mattered in trading was the order flow, everything else is secondary. Today, with the advent of electronic trading and algos, this is even more important. How many of you know that 50% of the market algos? Don't believe me? Check your DOM 5 mins from a news release, and see half the market vanish as the Algos that don't like risk disappear, you can only see this on your level 2, professional traders know at this point you don't want to trade. Do you know what a flipper is? Do you know who a growler is? Do you know what a spoof is? If the answer to even one of these is no, then you need this course. I do not specifically cover these in this introduction but in the next course we will look at these more in depth. In this course we will cover all the basics of order flow to aid you in your trading, it will take you a few months of practising on the DOM before you reach the next level and feel ready for a strategic based course.
