Welcome to Learn to Resin a TayThis course is for crafty/creative people looking to try new materials or interested in expanding their already existing art knowledge by learning how to use resin, but they don't know where to start and want to shorten cut the learning curve to find out!This course will help you avoid costly mistakes, help you to understand the different types of resin to use including which is suitable for your art project. Pigments and inks to use in your artwork as well as the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), tools and equipment you will need to get started with your new hobby or resin art business. I also show you examples of the different heating equipment you can use by doing a separate trays so you can see how they preform so you know which want to choose, depending on the effect you are wanting to create!Whether you have a basic understanding or resin or you've never used resin or inks before, everything you need to know is covered in the class. You will walk away equipped with the fundamentals so that you don't waste time, energy and resources trying to find out what/which products work! I have done all of that for you by creating this course, all you have to do is get creative, have fun, relax and feel inspired by the amazing functional art you create!Whilst this course is mainly based on creating functional art using resin on trays, I do show you how to make coasters using silicone moulds and I even show you how to create a resin ocean tray!
