Principles of Tangency is a topic in Technical or Engineering Drawing. As a student in a secondary school or any tertiary institution, you acquire the skills needed to construct such things as some machine parts, workshop hand tools, and other technical objects that are drawn by using a combination of circles, arcs, and straight lines.In this course, the method of teaching is so simple that you will learn the skill very easily with little or no aid; and you can apply it immediately on the assignment that is given to you at the end of the tutorial video. It is a very exciting course for those who are passionate about technical or engineering drawing.To successfully construct any object by using the Principles of Tangency, you will have to follow four simple steps. These steps are outlined as follows:1. Identify and draw all the center lines you can see in the given problem.2. Identify all the circles you see in the given problem and carefully construct them by using the given diameters 3. Identify all the curves you can see in the given problem, and by using the Principles of Tangency, carefully locate their starting points and ending points by iteration methods, ie. guessing them as illustrated in the tutorial. And lastly, 4.
