Research has found that those who are engaged in language learning are also generally musical people. I have personal experience in this field. My personal experience:I was learning Spanish in school, I had been learning it for a few years and had difficulties remembering new words and phrases. However, one day our teacher handed us a paper with the lyrics of a Spanish song. We translated it all together and then listened to the song, and I realised I remembered most of it. After this, I started to learn all languages of interest this way. Therefore, I feel confident telling you that this is a very useful and helpful way to learn the Hawaiian language as well.
