This is an introductory course in the theory and practice of drama for the stage. Theatre will be explored philosophically and aesthetically, with the application of drama and instruction. Emphasis is placed on the understanding and application of social aspects of theatre in our world. In addition, by learning an understanding of acting techniques, this class is designed to help you develop communication skills and confidence that you can carry with you into everyday life when appearing before others, both personally and professionally.
