In this course we introduce the various aspects of Data Management. After an introduction and definitions of data, information and knowledge we will introduce data management and improving the quality of data entities via Data Management work processes. The Data Management are discussed based on a simple framework. There is a brief discussion of available open industry frameworks like MIKE and the DaMa Body of KnowLedge.With this course you will be able to address data management issues present in your organisation.
