I created this course to provide you, a new and aspiring manager, with the concepts, tools, and tricks to succeed in this new role.Whether you're looking out ahead, faced with the decision, or have recently decided to go for it, I'll show you how to scope, justify, hire, manage, and retain a technical team from start to finish, in-person or remote. But we won't stop there!Each section is tailored to specifically address some of the common questions from new managers. I'll show you how to get work done (as a manager), how to communicate and manage relationships in all direction - downwards, upwards, and laterally. We'll go over what you can expect in your first 90 days and how to participate in the company's operational key results exercises.We'll focus on you, too, with exercises to identify your managerial style and create a transition plan.
